After years of helping consumers quickly and easily rid their homes of everyday dirt, Swiffer has expanded into the wood care category, with the launch of a dusting spray, a duster and new a wood floor cleaner. From Swiffer Dust & Shine’s ergonomic bottle to its easy to wipe consistency, the new Swiffer wood care line was designed to fulfill consumers’ demands for a wood care product that cleans while it conditions, according to the company. Swiffer Dust & Shine sprays in a light, even mist to thoroughly remove the visible layer of dust, fingerprints and smudges from wood furniture while conditioning the wood. Swiffer 360 degree Dusters have thousands of thick, fluffy dust-locking fibers to trap and lock up to two times more dust and dirt than a feather duster. The fibers change shape to easily fit into tight spaces where dust, dirt, cobwebs and allergens from dogs, cats and dust mites might be hiding. Swiffer WetJet Wood Floor Cleaner is an all-in-one cleaning system that cleans tough, stuck-on messes better than a mop and bucket. The specially designed wood-safe dirt dissolving solution cleans and reveals the natural beauty of a home’s hardwood floors. “We have learned from consumers that many people have an emotional attachment to their wooden surfaces and treasures,” said Jay Benton, external relations manager for North America Home Care. “We understand that wood floors and other wood surfaces are what make a house into a home, so we created a line of products to help consumers maintain and restore all of their favorite wood surfaces.” The Swiffer Wood Care family of products is available at major mass market grocery and drug store retailers nationwide in the following scents: Lavender Vanilla, Tropical Breeze and Citrus Zest.
